2012 Oregon Lacrosse Uniforms

Oregon just received new home and away uniforms for the 2012 season. Oregon lacrosse was looking to break away from the standard “Nike U” look. Pro Athletics answered with these. After a volley of back and forth ProAthletics had a final design that took inspiration from the wildly popular football program but added an authentic and different look for a up and coming MCLA program. Look for Oregon to make waves this season. The Green/Yellow/White jerseys display what now has become the signature motif for Oregon uniforms, wings. The sleeves adorn insignia from their respective leagues with the US flag on the back. For more info on the Ducks follow them on Twitter @DucksLacrosse.

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.

A break from the Nike U look? These borrow heavily from the Nike-designed football jersey. They are pretty sweet.
