Vail Lacrosse Shootout Day 1 Results, Photos

The first day of the Vail Lacrosse Shootout’s 40th tournament saw action in just one division, the Men’s Masters (30+). Last year’s champion, Team Hulu, moved on to the Championship Bracket. Colorado Wildfire Tees

As wildfires continue to ravage Colorado, residents are desperate to help in any way they can. A group of talented Colorado designers, marketers and printers have quickly banded together to donate their skills and launch Wild Fire Tees, a rotating line of Colorado-created, limited edition tee shirts with 100% of the proceeds going to wildfire relief. Currently, Wild Fire offers eight designs in both men’s and women’s sizes. They will be retiring some designs with launching new designs and products in the coming months.

Johns Hopkins Women’s Lacrosse to Compete as an Independent

BALTIMORE, MD - Johns Hopkins Director of Athletics Tom Calder announced today that the University's women's lacrosse program, currently a member of the American Lacrosse Conference, (ALC), will begin competing as an independent beginning in the 2014 or 2015 season. Chris Sanderson, Lacrosse Great Dies from Brain Cancer

Philly - With great sadness, the Philadelphia Wings announced that former Wings coach and player Chris Sanderson passed away today at age 38. Sanderson, who played two seasons for the Wings and served as an assistant coach from 2005 to 2011, passed away after a three-and-a-half year battle with brain cancer.
