24 NJ Girls Selected for the 2015 Under Armour Underclass Lacrosse Tournament

Baltimore, Md. (May 18, 2015) – Under Armour®, Inc. (NYSE: UA) and Corrigan Sports Enterprises announced today the roster of girls who will represent the New Jersey region at the 2015 Under Armour Underclass Lacrosse Tournament. The sport’s most prestigious underclassmen tournament will feature girls and boys teams from Baltimore, Long Island, Midwest, New England, New Jersey, Philadelphia, South, Upstate New York, Washington, D.C., and West and consist of players from the graduating classes of 2016-18.

The event will take place July 3-5 at Johnny Unitas Stadium on the campus of Towson University in Towson, MD. Over the three days, the teams will battle in a 10-team pool play tournament. The weekend is capped off on Sunday afternoon with championships for both the boys and girls regional teams.

The Underclass Tournament is part of the Under Armour All-America weekend, which features 88 of the nation’s best high school senior boys and girls facing off July 3rd at Towson’s Johnny Unitas Stadium.

PLAYERS WHO IMPRESSED AT TRYOUTS: Allison Mastroianni (Mid-field/2017/Bridgewater-Raritan/Martinsville, NJ; committed to North Carolina): The best player on the field for the day. She created opportunities for everyone, and made everyone else look better. Cassie Ford (Mid-Field/2016/Oak Knoll School/Summit, NJ; committed to Notre Dame): Cassie looked strong and fast in the midfield, creating a ton of fast break opportunities and pushing the ball up field all day long. Holly Lloyd (Attack/2016/Oak Knoll School/Summit, NJ; committed to Loyola University Maryland): Super fast, creative stick handler who had great vision and fed teammates with pinpoint accuracy. Julie Krupnick (Goalie/2016/Mountain Lakes/Mountain Lakes, NJ; committed to Northwestern): A fantastic goalie on the day with innate stopping ability and quick releases to start fast break transition for the team.
