49KingDyes North Carolina Theme Dye

A fellow “Man for Others” (Georgetown Prep Grad) got in touch with me awhile back about doing a UNC themed dye job for him. I started with the White Nike 2010 Legacy and began placing the stripes and doing the most difficult part, which is cutting out the “NC.” I have done the tar heel logo before and it’s fairly simple, however, the “NC” always causes me problems in getting the ratio correct.

Nevertheless, I think I nailed it this time. I wanted him to represent his number with pride which is why I made it big and centered it on the scoop and left it White so it would really pop on the Navy.

I dyed the whole head solid Baby Blue and then began adding the final text and logos and did a Navy fade to the top. The stick came out very clean and looks pretty sharp in my eyes. Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
