Lebanon Valley College Lacrosse Sets 2012 Schedule

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley College men’s lacrosse coach John Haus has announced his 2012 schedule as the Dutchmen get set to begin their third season of varsity competition.

Lebanon Valley (6-10, 4-7 MAC in 2011) will open up at home on Feb. 28, hosting Randolph-Macon College. Three other non-conference games will be at Arnold Field, with Centenary (March 6), Immaculata (March 10), and La Roche (March 17) coming into Annville.

The biggest chance for 2012 is the conference structure; with the addition of first-year program Albright, the Middle Atlantic Conference has split into Commonwealth and Freedom Conference, along the same lines as other sports like basketball and soccer. That means LVC will play just six Commonwealth Conference games in 2012, against Elizabethtown, Messiah, Lycoming, Alvernia, Albright, and Widener.

Other non-league games include trips to Mount Saint Mary (N.Y.), Shenandoah, and Rosemont, as well as a season-ending game against Rensselaer at Madison High School in northern New Jersey.
