Watch Denver Men’s Lacrosse Compete on ESPN

DENVER – Following a highly successful 2011 campaign, the University of Denver men’s lacrosse team will be featured on ESPN for two contests during the 2012 season. ESPN has announced its college lacrosse schedule for the upcoming season, as Denver will be featured on the Worldwide Leader in Sports during games against Notre Dame and Duke.

No. 5 Denver will travel to South Bend, Ind., on Sunday, March 18 to take on No. 9 Notre Dame at 11 a.m. MT on ESPNU. The Pioneers will then conclude regular season action on ESPNU as they welcome the No. 2 Duke Blue Devils to Denver, Colo., on Friday, April 27. The game will be played at Sports Authority Field as part of the Whitman’s Sampler Mile High Classic, hosted by Inside Lacrosse and is set to begin at 8 p.m. MT.

University of Denver men’s lacrosse individual game tickets for the 2012 season are available for purchase. Secure your seat and take part in another historical season of DU men’s lacrosse as the Pioneers compete for their third straight Eastern College Athletic Conference championship, and a second consecutive Final Four berth.

The 2012 Pioneer home schedule features matchups against Hartford (March 3), Hobart (March 31) and Loyola (April 14), among others. The annual DU Face-Off Classic will take place on February 25-26 at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium, with the Pioneers headlining the classic in contests against Michigan (Feb. 25) and Robert Morris (Feb. 26).

Single-game tickets are available for $9. Children, ages two and under, are free and can only sit on a lap. DU students are free with a valid Pioneer Card.

Tickets for the DU Face-Off Classic are also on sale. The two-day, four-game pass must be purchased in advance and is available for $20. Face-Off Classic single-day passes (two games) are $15.
