Duke will be the top seed in the ACC Tournament for the fifth time in program history and for the third time under head coach John Danowski. Duke earned the top seed after going 2-1 in conference games and holding the head-to-head tiebreaker over Virginia. The Blue Devils open the tournament against No. 4 seed Maryland, which is 7-3 overall and 1-2 in conference action. The contest will be a rematch of the 2011 ACC Championship, which the Terrapins won.

Three Blue Devils Earn All-ACC Honors
Seniors CJ Costabile and Robert Rotanz and sophomore Jordan Wolf all earned spots on the 2012 All-ACC Men’s Lacrosse Team as voted by the league’s coaches … Costabile and Wolf earn repeat honors, while Rotanz picks up his first career All-ACC award … Wolf is the first Blue Devil to earn all-conference recognition in his first two consecutive seasons.
