Laxachusetts And Acacia Walker Announce Inaugural Girls Laxachusetts Program

Laxachusetts has joined forces with Acacia Walker to present the girls Laxachusetts program! We have spent several years looking for the right woman to lead the very best student athletes the state has to offer. With men like Sean Morris and David Evans setting the content as well as coaching in our boys program, it was imperative we get the very best the sport has to offer to develop the content and coach our girls program.

Coach Walker’s play and coaching ability are matched only by her dynamic and infectious enthusiasm. Her skill development techniques are as innovative and as fun as the methods she uses to inspire young women to develop into strong individuals. A press release does not have enough room to detail the playing and coaching accolades that Coach Walker has accumulated, but this link describes her career in the sport to date.

“I am so honored to joining the LXC program and I am so thrilled to help continue to build and strengthen girls lacrosse in Massachusetts. LXC’s reputation and desire to put the players character, academics and work ethic first is what makes this an opportunity I could not pass up. I look forward to the bright future of this program!” – Acacia Walker

“We at Laxachusetts have been knocking on Acacia’s door for four years now and we are thrilled that this day has come. Acacia’s playing ability is only outmatched by the way she teaches the game. The girls of Massachusetts can now have a role model that has done everything in the game in a first class manner.“ – Sean Morris

The girls Laxachusetts program will focus on development of the character and skill set of the finest young women in Massachusetts. Coach Walker and the incredible staff she has put together are excited to mentor and inspire the first batch of Laxachusetts competitors. We encourage all interested to try out this Sunday! Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
