LC Radotín Bison Won The Dramatic Final of the First European Lacrosse League Tournament

Spectators who came to the Košutka in Pilsen watched fast and attractive lacrosse from the very beginning of the game. Michal Rozkot Bison scored the first goal in the 3rd minute, confirming his very good performance in the entire tournament. In the 6th minute, Vojtech Jan Jůza Oulehla scored and the shooting festival continued for the whole first period. John Jumper was the last scorer as he equalized it at 4-4 in the last minute.

None of opponents were able to get higher than one a goal differential in the second period. Both teams scored four goals and the game was very active. But Atcom players had not given up the game. Prchlík, Jeck and Oulehla answered and the score was 11-11 six minutes before the whistle. And they got another great chance when the Bisons’ bench sent too many men on to the field. But Pardubice missed the ocassion and Radek Skala scored after goalie Tomas Pelikan’s great pass. Radek Skala then scored on an empty cage.

“We Expected a difficult match,” Bison coach Patrik Prochazka said. “We had problems on defense. Eleven received goals is too much.”

Atcom coach Roman Pokorny was satisfied with his team performance. “We have the potential of improve. I hope our game will get better during the course of the ELL.”

Germany based team, Deutschland Adler, finished 3rd as they defeated ELL Blue 12-7. Plunkett is leading the scorer’s stats after the first tournament. Many players have very small box-lacrosse experience, yet we can expect that they will quickly learn the game.

ELL Blue finished fourth. Adam Ondráček scored six goals and Sean Mentz had five.

Home Old Dogs Plzeň won 10: 5 Radotín over Wolves in the 5th place game. The first period was Crucial – Old Dogs won 6: 1 They performed nice team play. After brave fight against the Bisons in Roud-robin game against luck They missed ELL Blue. Milan Černík and Karl Schaffner score five goals each loop.

Wolves finished sixth. They are far the Youngest team in the ELL. They need to learn and Their leaders Matthew Barak and George Loskot need somebody else to combine with.
