Hood College (Frederick MD) Is Hiring A Men’s Graduate Assistant

Hood is an independent liberal arts college known for its outstanding faculty, research opportunities, and experiential learning. Located in historic Frederick, Md. (the third largest city in the state), Hood is an hour from Washington, D.C., an hour from Baltimore and 30 minutes from the I-270 technology corridor.

The coaching graduate assistant will assist the head and any assistant coaches with the organization and supervision for all aspects of Hood College Men’s Lacrosse team.

Job Functions/Responsibilities: Assist the head and any assistant coaches with student-athlete recruitment, compliance with NCAA, MAC, and Hood College rules and regulations, practice, game preparation, conditioning, scouting, academic support, promotions, film exchange and other duties as assigned by the head coach.

Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, participation experience in college level lacrosse, knowledge of different computer software or the ability to learn, and a desire to be a coach.

Supervisor’s Expectations: Graduate assistant must have the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary in order to attend all practices, games and, meetings. Salary: Tuition waiver and stipend.
