“We would like to welcome Wheaties® into the lacrosse family. Wheaties® is one of the most iconic brands in sports history. When you think of the great athletes who have graced the cover of the box is pretty awesome, and for Wheaties® to select Epoch Lacrosse to help usher them into the great sport of lacrosse it is very humbling,” said James Miceli, Principal of Epoch Lacrosse.

“The Wheaties® box is one of the most iconic products that combines both sports and cereal. Wheaties® is well known for putting athletes on a cereal box. So my goal was to put a Wheaties® box on a lacrosse shaft. So when I began designing the Wheaties® shaft I knew the box would be where a lot of the shaft layout would come from. I wanted to literally fit the box inside the dimension of a shaft. I achieved this by using little details of the cereal box on the shaft. This would allow me to have a clean and simple look but still have it resemble a Wheaties® box,” said Brian Hochman, Lead Designer at Epoch Lacrosse.

Lacrosse Playground, on the other hand, is a premier source for lacrosse news, lifestyle stories, and apparel.

Together, these three brands are sending a team to the Ocean City Lacrosse Classic, a Maryland-based team tournament featuring some of the best lacrosse competition in the country. Each year over 100 teams, 3,000 contests, and 10,000 fans participate. Epoch has overseen the design of some phenomenal equipment, from custom lacrosse shafts to Wheaties-branded uniforms, while LPG has outfitted a select group of players to compete at Ocean City.
