Trilogy Lacrosse Partners with Team Stickhead

Kentucky’s Premier Lacrosse Club and Retailer Joins the Leader in Lacrosse Education

BROOKLYN, NY – Trilogy Lacrosse is proud to announce the addition of Team Stickhead to its family of Club Team partners. Founded in 2004 by Shawn Hamill and Scott Howe, Team Stickhead has helped players from the Bluegrass Region elevate their game to the highest levels of play, including the NCAA and the MLL. The program’s success is due largely to its leaders’ community-wide contributions and coaches who are focused on teaching the sport the right way.

Trilogy Lacrosse will help Stickhead further this tradition of excellence by enhancing administrative and operational capabilities and providing educational opportunities for Stickhead families. In addition to exclusive access to Trilogy Lacrosse’s National Directors and elite Aces Events, Team Stickhead will also benefit from the recruiting services, coaches training and curriculum that differentiate the organization as The Leader in Lacrosse Education.

“We are very pleased to welcome Stickhead as a Trilogy Club partner,” said Trilogy Lacrosse CEO Ryan Boyle. “This partnership further demonstrates Trilogy’s commitment to working with the best organizations at the local, regional, and national levels. Stickhead has been the authentic source of lacrosse expertise since we first entered Kentucky in 2006. We look forward to bringing our services to the Team Stickhead program starting with tryouts on September 28th.”

Tryouts for Team Stickhead’s U13, U15 and U17 teams will take place on Saturday September 28 and Sunday September 29, 2013 at EP Sawyer State Park in Louisville, KY. For more information and to register, please visit http://www.trilogylacrosse.com/teams/Stickhead.

Stickhead Co-Founder Scott Howe, a National Champion at the University of Virginia and eight-time coach of Kentucky State High School Champions St. Xavier was equally thrilled about the partnership. “We are extremely excited to take our Team Stickhead program to the next level,” said Howe. “Partnering with Trilogy Lacrosse brings us firmly onto the National stage as we continue to assist our local athletes who want to learn from the sport’s best talent while receiving superior support on the administrative and information side.” Added, Shawn Hamill, 2012 Kentucky Lacrosse Association’s ‘Man of the Year’ recipient and Stickhead Co-Founder, “Team Stickhead Powered by Trilogy Lacrosse is where you want to be if you want to ‘Be the Best’.”

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
