Lax Wax Signs MLL All-Star Martin Cahill to Pro Staff


HAMPTON, NH, November 12, 2013 — Lax Wax, LLC (www.lacrossewax.com) makers of the patent pending waterproof and conditioning solution for lacrosse sticks, announced today that Martin Cahill, former 2x NCAA All-America selection from the University of Delaware and current Hamilton Nationals standout, to join their professional staff. Cahill, a former MLL All-Star and 9th overall pick of the 2010 draft will represent Lax Wax in their 2014 print and on-line media campaigns. In addition, Cahill will be attending lacrosse events promoting Lax Wax, starting with the 2014 US Lacrosse Convention in Philadelphia, PA in January 2014. Cahill will be representing Lax Wax at camps (such as Cahill’s own “Sling Shot Lacrosse Camp,” tournaments and making shop appearances throughout New England.

In his college career (2007-10), Cahill earned First Team All-Colonial Athletic Association honors three times at the University of Delaware. At 6’2″ and 205 lbs he was a physical player who finished with 92 goals and 17 assists to become just the 31st player in school history to reach the 100-point mark as a senior in 2010. His 92 goals and 17 assists for 109 points came in just 64 career games making him a two time All- American while at the University of Delaware. He was also a two-time team captain of the Blue Hens. Entering his fifth season of Major League Lacrosse he enjoyed two seasons with the Rochester Rattlers before settling down with the Hamilton Nationals.
