US Lacrosse Signs TeamZila, STX and deBeer/Gait as 2014 Fan Fest Sponsors

BALTIMORE, Dec. 13, 2013 — US Lacrosse has signed TeamZila, STX and deBeer/Gait as co-presenting sponsors of the US Lacrosse Fan Fest, set for 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.

Fan Fest is a public event open to lacrosse fans of all ages. Nearly 160 exhibitors populated the largest exposition hall in lacrosse at the 2013 Fan Fest, showcasing the latest lacrosse gear and apparel along with other products and services. Fan Fest includes live demonstrations and autographs from Team USA stars and other top players in the sport, contests, giveaways and activities for kids.

“Fan Fest is a great Saturday event for lacrosse families and teams to attend to get energized for the upcoming season, and we’re very grateful for the support of TeamZila, STX and deBeer/Gait in helping us stage a memorable experience,” said Rob Scherr, sponsorship manager at US Lacrosse.

TeamZila will distribute free t-shirts to the first 300 attendees. STX, also a sponsor of the Live Field demonstration area, will host an autograph session featuring selected players at 12:40 p.m. and stick maintenance clinics at 3:20 p.m. for girls’ lacrosse and at 4:40 p.m. for boys’ lacrosse.

The 2013 Fan Fest drew a record 1,829 attendees. All ticket sales for Fan Fest will be at the gate. General admission tickets are $10. Youth or high school players wearing their team jersey will be admitted for $5, as will any fan wearing a Team USA or Philadelphia Wings jersey. Ticket windows will accept cash, American Express, MasterCard and Visa.

Limited space remains available in the expo hall. Businesses or organizations must complete exhibitor registration by Dec. 19. For more information, including additional highlights, player appearances and exhibitor registration, visit uslacrosse.org/fanfest.
