STX Will Provide Equipment for U.S. Men’s Lacrosse Team and Launch Contest To Win Custom Team USA Gear


Baltimore, MD – Baltimore-based STX, LLC, a global sporting goods leader, congratulates STX lacrosse athletes Kyle Harrison and Tucker Durkin, who were both named to the 2014U.S. Men’s National Team final roster.

Harrison and Durkin will compete with the U.S. Men’s Team in the 2014 Federation of International Lacrosse World Lacrosse Championships. The highly selective 23-player team will defend its gold medal in Denver, Colorado from July 10 – 19.

Harrison, a Team USA midfielder, is a former Tewaaraton winner and current Major League Lacrosse player for the Ohio Machine. He will compete in the World Championships with custom red, white and blue K18 gear.  Durkin, who was named the NCAA’s most outstanding defenseman in 2012 and plays for the Florida Launch, will compete as a defenseman on Team USA.


Per an agreement through 2016, STX will provide the U.S. Men’s Team with custom designed and engineered products for the most elite level of competition. Durkin and his fellow U.S. Men’s National teammates will compete with special-edition USA Stallion HD gloves and protection gear, Stallion 500 and Hammer 500 handles and Cell III gloves. Team USA goalies will use custom Shield Pro gloves.

In conjunction with the World Championship, STX is launching a Predict & Win contest where fans make their predictions for each Team USA matchup. Over 15 prizes will be awarded, including one grand-prize of the custom Team USA gloves and handle.
