FOGO Lacrosse: Proposed Face-Off Rules Potentially Misguided?

Last week the Men’s Lacrosse Rules Committee recommended several new rules to be implemented for the upcoming 2013 season. While these are currently recommendations, we understand that each individual rule will be voted upon by the Playing Rules Oversight Panel at some point in September. While there were many recommendations—there seemed to be more this year than in recent years—we intend to focus on those affecting that which is dear to us, the face-off. Read More...

Colorado State Wins Fifth MCLA Title with 7-5 Win over Cal Poly

Greenville, SC – The #2 Colorado State Rams used a record-breaking defensive performance and four points from junior midfielder Alex Devlin (Langley HS / Langley, VA) to capture their fifth MCLA national championship on Saturday night in Greenville, South Carolina with a 7-5 victory over #1 Cal Poly. The Rams surrendered just 15 goals in their four-game tournament run to the championship, including holding the potent Cal Poly attack off the scoreboard for over thirty minutes of game time in the finals. FOGO Lacrosse, Inc. Announces Two Summer Camp Dates For 2012

BALTIMORE CITY, MARYLAND - April 5, 2012 - FOGO Lacrosse announced their Summer Face-Off Camp schedule this week. Currently the schedule includes only two camps, both of which will be held in Maryland at the Gerstell Academy. FOGO Lacrosse will kick off the summer season with a camp to be held June 15th through June 17th, which will give previous campers and newcomers a chance to improve their technique prior to a summer presumably filled with recruiting camps and tournaments. Crotty Named MLL Rookie of The Year

(August 10, 2010) –Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, announced Tuesday that Chicago Machine attack Ned Crotty has been selected as the 2010 Cascade Major League Lacrosse Rookie of the Year, according to MLL Commissioner David Gross.
