US Lacrosse Announces 2014 AED Grant Recipients

BALTIMORE, August 6, 2014 — US Lacrosse is providing AED grants to 33 lacrosse organizations across 21 states to subsidize the cost of acquiring automated external defibrillators (AEDs). The grants, which total over $16,000, are made available through US Lacrosse’s partnership with Cardiac Science, a global leader in the manufacturing of AEDs and other cardiology products and services. The third day of the 41st Vail Lacrosse Shootout saw the tournament’s first champion crowned. The Eldest Statesmen became five-time Grandmasters champions with a 12-4 victory over Middlebury. In the Supermasters division, for the third straight year the Elder Statesmen will faceoff against the C2C Magic Wands. New London, CT - The United States Coast Guard Academy Men's Lacrosse team is excited to announce the arrival of a strong in-coming group that is part of the Class of 2016. The Bears were challenged to fill several positions vacated by graduating 1st Class cadets now serving in the fleet, but a successful recruiting season seems likely to fill the gaps.
