The Stanford Cardinal and the Sonoma State Seawolves met in the WCLL Championship lacrosse game in Novato. Sonoma led 4-2 in the second quarter and 6-4 at the end of the third quarter, but Stanford launched a comeback and outscored Sonoma 4-1 in the fourth to upset Sonoma 8-7 to win the Western Collegiate Lacrosse League championship for the first time since 1982. Fort Collins, CO – The Colorado State University men’s lacrosse team has announced an aggressive 16 game schedule for 2015. The Rams will make four regular season, out-of-state road trips and will play eight teams who attended the 2014 MCLA national tournament. The schedule includes the champions of five different MCLA conferences with the University of Colorado (RMLC), Boston College (PCLL), Michigan State (CCLA), Simon Fraser (PNCLL) and Arizona State (SLC) on the docket.
