Concordia University Wisconsin is a 2nd year D3 NCAA program that went 8-6 in their first year. Concordia continued to push their players with a competitive Fall Ball schedule. The Wisconsin War Elephants are rocking Warrior TII helmets this Summer, but not just any TII. The lid displays a work of art from HeadWrapz. The custom helmet wrap is a Plaid pattern with the team's insignia on the side profile. Haven't seen too many TII's adorned in HeadWrapz, but this definitely came out nice.
More gear out of Madison. adidas made custom uniforms for the Wisconsin Badgers men's lacrossse team. Home jerseys are in White with "Badgers" on the chest. The Red for away with "Wisconsin" centered on the chest. Notice the inside of the collar. "On Wisconsin" is embellished which makes for a unique touch on the custom uniform.
Here's the mock-up for Wisconsin's adidas 111 gloves. These gloves won't be in Madison until winter since they're currently being made. This is of course part of their realignment with the UW athletic department and adidas partnership.
At the beginning of the year we told you our prediction for trends in equipment and apparel for 2010. One of the trends we talked about that we thought we'd see a return of some cleaner looks in uniform styles. When we got an e-mail about Wisconsin lacrosse last week, we figured it'd give us an opportunity to re-hash what we mean when we say clean.
