A Look Inside Washington College Men’s Lacrosse Game Day

Getting fired up for game day is a special routine for most. Sometimes, it probably involves an Any Given Sunday speech or a line or two from Varsity Blues for you. For me, it’s Jeff Shirk. The Shirkinator was a fierce competitor in his hay-day. I was so stoked to learn of his hire as Head Coach at WAC. The man is a legend. Take a look inside this game day preparation at WAC with Shirk leading the way.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.

dont quit on the WAC just yet. They’ll have a solid team this year and from what I’ve heard they have a pretty good recruiting class for 2012

didn’t they lose this game? WAC is on nothing but a downward spiral with Bryan Matthews as the AD. Its a shame but their Goose has been shot.
