TAMPA, Fla. – University of Tampa men’s lacrosse standout Greg Griffo has been named an honorable mention All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Coaching Association (USILA). He becomes the first player in program history to earn the honor. Griffo, a senior from Babylon, N.Y., recently concluded his Spartan career as the team’s leading scorer. In 16 games, he netted 28 goals and 10 assists, including a pair of game-winning goals. He registered at least one points in 14 games this season. Read More…

CORTLAND, NY — For the first time in the program’s illustrious history, the RIT (19-2) men’s lacrosse team will play for the NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse national title thanks to Allister Warren (Toronto, Ontario/Malvern Collegiate Institute)’s overtime goal with 1:55 left, giving the Tigers a 10-9 win over top seeded and previously undefeated SUNY Cortland (19-1) in the semifinals on Sunday. This June 1st and June 2nd ER Youth Lacrosse will be hosting their first annual ER Lacrosse Jamboree. The weekend long tournament will take place at the Central New York Family Sports Centre in Syracuse, New York and will consist of over 60 teams. Initially the guys at ER were offering camps across the state and throughout the country in an effort to grow the game of lacrosse the right way. Read More…
