The 2013 NCAA® Men’s Lacrosse Championship takes place this weekend at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa. and Mike Powell, four-time NCAA First Team All-American, will be on-site to meet fans at the Capital One Cup Fan Zone. Powell will sign autographs and watch fans put their skills to the test, performing sports drills and other interactive experiences on Saturday, May 25 from 12 PM to 4 PM and Monday, May 27 from 9 AM to 1 PM. Three Pioneers Earn USILA Scholar All-America Honors



DENVER – University of Denver men’s lacrosse seniors Drew Babb (Centennial, Colo.), Kyle Hercher (Littleton, Colo.) and Eric Law (Denver, Colo.) were selected as Scholar All-American, it was announced by the Unites States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association. Greg Griffo Becomes Tampa’s First Lacrosse All-American, Full Division II All-American List Included



TAMPA, Fla. – University of Tampa men’s lacrosse standout Greg Griffo has been named an honorable mention All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Coaching Association (USILA). He becomes the first player in program history to earn the honor. Griffo, a senior from Babylon, N.Y., recently concluded his Spartan career as the team’s leading scorer. In 16 games, he netted 28 goals and 10 assists, including a pair of game-winning goals. He registered at least one points in 14 games this season. Read More…
