Hammerheads Travel Teams Join Broward Barracudas



The Broward Barracudas and the Ft. Lauderdale Hammerheads travel programs have agreed to join forces beginning with the upcoming travel season. Hammerheads founder and director, Jan Northrop, will join Pete Dunne and Shaun Bamforth as co-directors of the travel program. Brian Cost, former St. Andrews Assistant Coach and new Assistant Coach at University School, is also joining the Barracudas program and will serve as Director of Coaching. Trevor Tierney Rejoins Denver Men’s Lacrosse Staff



Trevor Tierney is the son of the Hall of Fame head coach, serving under his father at DU for four seasons from 2010-13, including the first two as his first assistant coach. Mark Millon to join Baltimore Breakers as Director of Player and Coach Development



The Baltimore Breakers boys club lacrosse program announced today that former All World Team USA player and National Lacrosse Hall of Fame member Mark Millon will be assuming the role of Director of Player and Coach Development for the program. Millon has worked with the Breakers intermittently since the program’s inception in 2003. He became full time head coach in 2013 with the Breakers U11 team. Read More…

Mountain Hawks recognized with IWLCA Team Academic Award



BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Continuing its success in the classroom, the Lehigh women’s lacrosse program has been honored with an IWLCA Team Academic Award, as announced on Monday. The award goes to teams with a 2013-14 grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The Mountain Hawks posted a strong 3.28 team GPA last fall and 3.44 GPA last spring. Read More…

Tampa Earns IWLCA Academic Award in Inaugural Season



GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has recognized the University of Tampa as one of its Honor Squads for the 2014 season.

UT is one of 45 schools earning IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Squad honors for the 2014 season. Every school with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher earned Academic Squad honors. Read More…
