We came. We saw. We conquered. Napoleon said it once. The Texas Longhorns Men’s D1 (Club) Lacrosse team said it again. This past weekend in New Orleans, after dedicating weeks of sweat, blood, and tears to preparing for the first big weekend of the year, the Horns took down two of the finest D1 (Club) teams in all the land. We stopped by Niketown to get geared up, casually ran into Ndamukong Suh at the employee store, and dropped bills at none other than the Columbia store. Amigos, glad to send out the first of many blog posts from the University of Texas Division 1 (Club) Lacrosse team! We just had a huge weekend. Between having the biggest win in the team’s history, beating #2 ranked Arizona State in a straight up DOGFIGHT 4-3 in New Orleans for the Allstate Sugar Bowl Lacrosse game, being guaranteed an invitation back for next year, and having one hell of a time in the hours following the win, we could not have asked for anything better.
