Barksdale Lacrosse Apparel to Donate 100% of Proceeds to Liz Nass Scholarship Fund

Two months ago the sister of the founders from Barksdale Lacrosse was tragically killed in a train derailment in Ellicott City, Md. In the wake of the accident the Nass family set up a scholarship fund so that each year a student from Mt. Hebron High School can be selected to receive some financial help to attend James Madison University.

The brothers from Barksdale Lacrosse have decided to sell off the remainder of their summer inventory and donate 100% of the proceeds to the Liz Nass scholarship fund. Both the “floh” shirt and the “iLaxMD” tank will be on sale for $10.26 in honor of their sisters 20th birthday which would have been today (10/26). The sale starts today and will be valid until all of the products sell out. Make a purchase at Barksdale Lacrosse.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
