Blackjack project to support Bellarmine coach Jack McGetrick

Elevation Lacrosse will be selling BlackJack T-shirts & Awareness Bracelets as a fundraiser for Coach jack McGetrick of Bellarmine University in support of his battle with prostate cancer. “While NCAA teams all over the country have been hosting player clinics to help raise funds for Coach McGetrick, a group of former players put our heads together to see how we could join in to help out the man who has been instrumental in so many of our lives,” Chris Williams of Elevation Lacrosse explains.

The BlackJack brings light to a disease that has stricken so many in the lacrosse community while rallying support around a man that has given so much of his life to the sport of lacrosse and the thousands of young men he has made an indelible impression on.

The BlackJack logo features a lacrosse stick inside a Black Spade with a Columbia Blue ribbon wrapped around the left side. The bracelet has two Columbia Blue ribbons flanking “BlackJack”.

The T-shirts and Awareness bracelets will be made available at Elevation Lacrosse with 100% of the proceeds being donated to Coach McGetrick. Both should go live sometime within the next week, if anyone has specifics questions or would like to contact Chris Williams about placing a group order you can do so at [email protected].

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
