LEAPS (Lacrosse, Education, Attitude, Perseverance and Success) is a Philadelphia-based non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of under served youth throughout the greater Philadelphia area through their participation in the sport of lacrosse. Currently, LEAPS has been impacting the lives of Philadelphia youth with free weekly lacrosse clinics and nutritional instruction. In the Summer of ’09, LEAPS will also offer lacrosse camps at brand new turf fields throughout the Philadelphia area through its relationship with the School District of Philadelphia.
“The Philadelphia area has always been a hot bed of lacrosse,” said Mike Fine, Marketing Director for Boathouse Sports. “We are confident that through our support of the LEAPS Foundation those kids who in the past might not have had the opportunity to experience the sport of lacrosse will be able to realize their true potential as athletes, students and as active members of society as a whole.
