Brine Promo Player, Ned Crotty, Selected in NLL Draft

Former Duke University men’s lacrosse standout and Brine promo player, Ned Crotty, is among the 61 players picked in the 2010 National Lacrosse League (NLL) Entry Draft presented by Marc Mesh. The NLL is the premier professional indoor lacrosse league in North America.

Crotty is going to the Colorado Mammoth with the 11th pick. The 2010 Tewaaraton Trophy winner was the first pick of the second round and was the first player chosen by the Mammoth. Crotty is coming off of a successful rookie season in Major League Lacrosse, in which he was named the MLL Rookie of the Year. He finished with 24 points from 11 goals and 13 assists in seven games with the Chicago Machine.
