Brine Signs on as Official Equipment Supplier of Team USA Women’s Lacrosse

WARREN, MICH. – Oct. 14, 2014 – Brine Lacrosse, a leader in quality lacrosse equipment manufacturing since 1950, announced today that it has signed a multi-year deal with US Lacrosse to become an official equipment supplier of the U.S. Women’s National Team Program and a presenting sponsor of all U.S. Women’s National Team events through 2017.

“Brine has been supplying women with premium lacrosse equipment for decades so this partnership is very natural,” said Jessica Hanson, Brine Women’s Lacrosse Product Manager. “Our current sponsored athletes on Brine Team Elite include two Team USA superstars in Danielle Etrasco and team captain Lindsey Munday, so we were welcomed with open arms at our first team meetings in Baltimore last weekend. It was a good opportunity to meet all of the athletes and we’re excited to make additions to the Team Elite roster over the coming months – we’re highly focused on creating the best product in the market with input from the best players in the world.”

Brine Team Elite and Team USA member Lindsey Munday is one of the most highly decorated lacrosse players of all time. After a stellar collegiate career at Northwestern University, Munday became a pillar of Team USA, setting the U.S. record for most points in a FIL World Cup tournament, winning two world titles and earning two All-World team selections. Most recently, Munday led the 2013 U.S. Women’s National Team to a gold medal as the solo captain.

A former two-time All-American at Boston University, Danielle Etrasco is the newest member of Brine Team Elite. After joining the U.S. Women’s National Team in 2011, Danielle had her first shot at the FIL World Cup in 2013, where she scored 20 points on her way to earning a gold medal. A young gun and current collegiate coach, Danielle will be a staple of Brine Team Elite and Team USA for years to come.
