Brown Lacrosse Announces Its Team of the Decade: 2000-2009

Providence, R.I. – The National Goalie of the Year, several Ivy League Players of the Year and an array of All-Americans highlight the Brown Lacrosse Team of the Decade from 2000-2009 as announced by Brown Lacrosse coach Lars Tiffany. The All Decade Team was announced at recent Brown Alumni Event in New York City.

“Although only some of these men played for me, most of them are known by me and all of them were outstanding Brown Lacrosse players who represented our university and our program’s tradition with the utmost character and class,” said Tiffany. “These men made huge impacts at Brown with both their play and their leadership. Six of these men went on to play field lacrosse at the professional level in the MLL. Many were adorned with multiple honors nationally and locally while others received less attention but were no less critical to the success of the teams they played for. One such man is Jack Walsh ’09; ignored by the nation with awards, he was almost unanimously recognized for his unmatched contributions to the 2008 Ivy Title team and the 2009 squad that earned a trip to the NCAA Tournament.”
