BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Former Lehigh standout and current Major League Lacrosse player Cameron Lao-Gosney was traded from Charlotte to Hamilton on Tuesday and in doing so, was reunited with twin brother Roman, who?s currently on the Nationals. Both Lao-Gosneys have enjoyed success early in their professional careers, seeing significant action as two-way midfielders.

Cameron was traded with attackman Bryan Neufeld and a 2013 third-round pick in exchange for faceoff specialist Geoff Snider.

Cameron played in three games for the Hounds, recording a pair of shots, including one on goal. He also made a big impact on the defensive end in helping Charlotte right away. The Hounds are 2-1 in Cameron?s three games, this after winning only one of their first six games before he arrived.

“Cameron is a fast, athletic midfielder who helped us right away,” said Hounds head coach Mike Cerino on CharlotteHounds.com.

Meanwhile, Roman has played two games for Hamilton, recording a shot and three groundballs. He scooped a pair of groundballs in last Saturday?s slim 15-13 loss to Boston.

Hamilton is back on action this Friday (July 13) and Saturday (July 14), first hosting the Ohio Machine before traveling to Ohio the following night. Both games can be seen live online through ESPN3.com. The Nationals will then travel to Long Island next Saturday (July 21) before finishing their season with three straight home games.
