The usual suspects such as Peter Baum and Ryan Walsh were interviewed before practice, but I guess my words of wisdom from the blog have made waves, as #19 got the chance to speak in front of the cameras. The fame was short lived as we had to reshift our focus on finishing off a solid week of practice. Friday we finished the workweek with our normal pregame practice, capped by #15 breaking down the team, following chants of “Tewey” from his teammates. Read More…

Wakeup calls were at 9 o’clock with a 9:30 breakfast before the 1 P.M. game. Scouting repots were handed in and we loaded the bus en route to the Dartmouth campus. After situating ourselves in the small visitor’s team locker room we geared up and got ready for the game. As I have been alluding to throughout the blog, once we came out for our second and final warm up the snow began to fall. It seemed to pick up as the game progressed, lightening up a little towards the end of the game. Here it was, same opponent, same weather conditions, and a chance for us to prove that we are the better team. Read More…

After the Sunday victory over Bryant, we were fortunate (or NCAA mandated) to receive a day off on Monday from lacrosse activities. Colgate Lacrosse 2013 Player Blog: Bryant for #1

Colgate Lacrosse 2013 Player Blog: Bryant for #1

With poor road conditions following the storm, the trip to Bryant was a long one as it spanned a little under 6 hours. We continued back-to-back solid movie performances, with the playing of Ted and The Bourne Legacy. Some of the older guys were keeping entertained by playing Pokémon in the back of the bus, but for their sake I will keep those names confidential. Read More…

Last year we were grateful to have a great senior class that kept our energy level high at all times, spearheaded by “DJ” Jason Coppersmith.
