Cassese, Lehigh Announce Men’s Lax Incoming Class



BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh Smith Family Head Lacrosse Coach Kevin Cassese announced the team’s incoming class of 2017 on Wednesday, which includes 11 standouts across several states and positions. The group enters Lehigh this fall looking to help replace a stellar senior class that featured 14 total members and several All-Americans, All-Patriot League Players and Major League Lacrosse draftees. Corbett and Taylor wrap up successful summer in Canadian summer leagues



BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh rising juniors Patrick Corbett and Dan Taylor recently wrapped up highly successful summers playing indoor (box) lacrosse in their native Canada. Corbett finished the summer with 62 points for the Burlington Chiefs of the Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League. Meanwhile, Taylor led the Alberta Jr. League in scoring for both the regular season and playoffs as his Mountaineers advanced all the way to Game 7 of the Championship Round. Read More…

Jewish Sports Review Names Sukonik First Team All-American



BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After another strong season this past spring, Lehigh rising junior Carli Sukonik has been named a Collegiate Lacrosse First Team All-American by the Jewish Sports Review. This marks the second consecutive year she has earned the honor. Sukonik is one of three Patriot Leaguers recognized, joining student-athletes from schools like Stanford, UConn and Princeton on the first team. Read More…
