The winner will earn the right to host the 2013 Patriot League Tournament, which is huge. This has been a goal of ours all season, as Lehigh has never hosted before. Hey bloggers! It’s been about a week since our last post and we have 3 games to catch up on. When we last talked we had Harvard next on the docket. Our cross-river rival spanked us two years ago, and although last year we showed a little improvement with an 11-9 loss, we had some redeeming to do. This year our game was the Friday before Easter, under-the-lights, and also our Breast Cancer Awareness game. Read More…

After the loss to Army we were forced to regroup and recover for our upcoming game against the team from Bethlehem. Not much needed to be said to get us going for this one, as we were playing the team that took the Patriot League Championship away from us last year. That ring hanging above the entrance to our locker room all spring, that flag they stomped on our field, that was all we needed to motivate us throughout the week and on game day. Read More…

Practice wrapped up on a great note last Friday and as Coach Cassese says, “the hay was in the barn.” Navy was coming to town and we knew we were in for a dogfight, which is always the case with a league school let alone one of the academies. I would be doing a disservice to my readers to note mention the charity auction that a few of our seniors were lucky enough to participate in on Friday night. Seniors Jimmy Queeney, Bill Manning, and Connor Brown took part in The Brothers Society charity auction, where lovely Colgate females had the opportunity to bid for a date with three of our finest seniors. They ended up going in as a unit, which was a good idea since each guy gives something you are looking for in a man. Read More…

Wow, it’s been a while. When we last left off, I was on the plane ride home from Denver, which at this point seems like an eternity ago. When we first got home all the dorms were locked because BU was still technically on Spring Break; luckily, my building stays open during breaks and holidays so I could go home to my own bed.
