Notre Dame, IN. – adidas, a global leader in the sporting goods industry, has signed on as the official equipment and apparel supplier with the Notre Dame Men’s Lacrosse team. The Fighting Irish will take the field using the latest adidas Lacrosse sticks, handles and protective equipment and custom Notre Dame uniforms as part of the agreement.

First look at the Notre Dame shoulder Pads for 2011. Adidas embellished the chest with ND insignia. The entire shoulder pad and liner is custom colored for Notre Dame too. The black is now Navy, and the fabric liner is now Notre Dame Gold on top of the embroidered logos. Find out more…

USA and Canada met in the World Games championship Saturday. USA came out on top with a come-from-behind win. But both teams wouldn’t have taken it the distance without playing well in the Semi’s prior to Saturday’s thrilling ‘ship. The 2010 adidas National Lacrosse Classic will take place at the Maryland Soccerplex in Boyds, Maryland July 5-8, 2010. 500 players from 28 States and Canada, named as adidas All-Americans, will compete on twenty teams from 8 different regions of the United States for a National Championship in a showcase for college lacrosse coaches and recruiters. Today, Notre Dame beat Princeton 8-5 to advance to the Quarterfinals next week. Many people may credit Scotty Rodgers with stonewalling the tigers, but others may say the turf shoes may have played a role in the victory.
