The guys at LAS have just released new shirts that are emblazoned with the most memorable and legendary players from Syracuse, Johns Hopkins, Virginia, and Princeton. LAS shows you how to do a technical four color dye job. The dye job is inspired by the “Art Deco style architecture that is very prevalent in Miami, especially on South Beach.” The colors include Creamsicle Orange, Yellow, Red and Brown dyed on to a Gait Triton (White).

Gait Lacrosse, a division of Jarden Inc. that includes sporting goods brands such as Rawlings, Worth, Miken, JT Sports, Licensed Products and deBeer, said Bryan Bendig has joined the Gait lacrosse team as the Grassroots Marketing Manager. Bendig will report to Ren Petinelli, business director, for deBeer/Gait. Bendig will be responsible for the Gait Grass Roots Program nationwide.

The Winfield youth football and cheer program in Maryland are raising awareness for Leukemia by running a silent auction in support of Cameron Lawver and his family. Some of those showing support are MLL All-Star Anthony Kelly and STX. One of the items being Anthony “A Train” Kelly autographed custom Ohio State G22 gloves and an autographed poster. >>READ MORE

Back in August, LPG broke the story on an NLL All Star Series in Australia. The teams have just been announced and it looks like it’s going to be a nice show. The teams consist of Gary Gait, Mark Steenhuis, Geoff Snider, John Grant Jr and Brodie Merrill to name a few. Meet the players after the jump.

When you take a look at a Gary Gait, or a Joe Walters, do you see them playing tennis? Does John Grant lace up the roller blades and get a game of street hockey in before dinner? Undoubtedly, athletes of that caliber could do reasonably well in any hard gritted alpha male contest, but they chose to play lacrosse. Or did they?
