Virginia’s 2012 Gait Dakota gloves are in. The gloves have an Orange colorway with Blue accents. Their logo and mascot namesake are emblazoned on the cuff and fist. The Dakota gloves are extremely flexible and features PORON® XRD™ foam padding in multiple locations to increase one’s protection.

Next Spring, Gait will be introducing their new G11 helmet. New features include an inflatable liner, titanium facemask and narrow wire profile. Probably the most compelling element to the helmet is the interchangeable visor and chin which allow for easy customization. The lid is expected to be offered in Black, Forest Green, Navy, Orange, Red, Royal and White.

Gait has a number of new shafts hitting shelves soon and one of them is the Gait FL75 handle. The FL75 is high-strength alloy with a decal finish. It is also scandium-enhanced for durability. Expect to see colorways available in Forest Green, Orange, Red, Royal and Silver.

With an estimated 600,000 eye injuries occurring each year related to sports this lacrosse eye shield may help prevent more from happening. The high impact eye shield is made of lexon and will fit the majority of Cascade and Gait brand lacrosse helmets. Provides extra-wide vision with zero distortion while eliminating harmful ultra-violet rays at the same time. The shield also features a anti-scratch coat protecting eyes from dirt, mud and airborne particles. Color options include Amber, Clear and Smoke.

New from Gait is the Saber head. The saber features a stiff structure built for all areas of the field. Included is a multi-hole string system for custom pocket placement. The narrow scoop area aids for added accuracy and velocity. Legal for all play, but recommended for Junior High through College.

Here is a glimpse of the new Dakota gloves from Gait for 2012. This particular pair is Black/White, but should be available in an array of colorways upon release. Gait Dakota features airvents that allow for maxium airflow to keep hands cool and dry with a vented palm to improve breathability and grip.
