Easton Lacrosse discusses their new technology that will help them manufacture the best equipment in lacrosse. They have taken the Talon shafts of yesterday and made them 50% stronger and 20% lighter as a result of the acquisition by Easton.
VAN NUYS, Calif.– Easton Sports today announced the hiring of Duke Stump as Senior Vice President of Culture, Creative and Brand Innovation. Additionally, the company appointed Mike Zlaket as Executive Vice President and General Manager; named Matt Arndt as Senior Vice President Product Management; and tapped Doug Appleton as General Manager of the lacrosse division. The four will work to advance the Easton Sports brand banner that includes hockey, baseball/softball and lacrosse.

Team USA won the first-ever Bowhunter Cup, 13-11, at the War Memorial at Oncenter in Syracuse, NY on Saturday.
The Nationals jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first quarter, but the Americans battled back to tie the score at 6-6 at halftime. With the game deadlocked at 7-7 in the third, Bill McGlone scored three times in the final three minutes of the quarter to put USA ahead for good.

Together with Talon, the new lacrosse division will incorporate Easton’s innovative design, materials and technology into the tradition and culture of America’s fastest growing field sport.
