BOSTON, Mass. – On Sunday, October 14, the Wentworth Institute of Technology men’s lacrosse program welcomed its newest member as nine-year old Thomas Archibald was formally introduced to the team and coaching staff in a short ceremony that took place on campus at Blount Auditorium. Thomas joins the men’s lacrosse program through The Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, whose mission is to improve the quality of life of children with pediatric brain tumors and other medical conditions. Glenside, PA (November 8. 2012) – Arcadia Men’s Lacrosse Head Coach Andrew Delaney named his 2013 captains as selected by the team. These are the first captains in the history of the program, which will begin NCAA competition on Febraruay 20, 2012 when they host Stockton at 7pm on Easton Field. The Misericordia University men’s lacrosse team and community are collecting clothing and food items for the family of former men’s lacrosse player Danny McKeefrey ’07, whose home was destroyed in a fire during Hurricane Sandy in Breezy Point, Queens. BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Zach Iannucci has been hired to be the first men’s lacrosse coach at Illinois Wesleyan University, IWU athletic director Dennie Bridges announced today. The 25-year-old Iannucci comes to Illinois Wesleyan from being an assistant at Oberlin College (Ohio), where he spent the 2012 season as defensive coordinator for the Yeomen men’s lacrosse team. The No. 1 Salisbury University men’s lacrosse team capped off the program’s seventh undefeated season and 10th National Championship on Sunday by defeating the State University of New York at Cortland in the 2012 NCAA Division III National Championship game, 14-10, at Gillette Stadium.
