Coast Guard Academy Announces 2014 Team Captains


New London, Conn. – Fresh off the announcement from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Division of Athletics that it will elevate the Men’s Lacrosse Program to varsity NCAA D3 status (effective with the 2014-15 academic year), Coast Guard Academy Men’s Lacrosse Head Coach Gary Weller announced that attackman Cadet 1/c Stu Carley (Houston, Texas/James E. Taylor), midfielder Cadet 2/c Patrick Dreiss (Wantagh, NY/Holy Trinity) and long stick midfielder Cadet 1/c Nick Fredericksen (Nashua, NH/Nashua South) were selected by the coaching staff and a vote by their teammates to serve as team captains for the 2014 season. Glenn Carter Named Keystone’s First Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach


La Plume, PA – Glenn Carter has been named Keystone College’s first-ever head men’s lacrosse coach according to an announcement made recently by Director of Athletics, Dr. Matthew Grimaldi. Stevenson University Hosts 3rd Annual Meghan Puls Lacrosse Classic Sunday, October 20th

Owings Mills, Md – Stevenson University will be hosting the third annual Meghan Puls Lacrosse Classic Sunday, October 20 at 10am in Mustang Stadium on the Owings Mills campus. The Washington College old timers wore nice uniforms this year designed by Boathouse. Over 40 alumni attended and 40 players spanning the early 90’s to last years class. The unis pay homage to past players and friends of the program. The annual alumni game itself is in honor of longtime WAC lacrosse supporter Charlie Moloney. Read More…

Millsaps Majors Name Hoeffler Head Coach

JACKSON- The Millsaps Majors have named John Hoeffler the new men’s lacrosse head coach and he becomes the second coach in program history. Hoeffler comes to Millsaps from Misericordia University where he was an assistant coach. He replaces Luke Beam, who was named the head coach at his alma mater Messiah College in July. Read More…

Maine Maritime Academy Adding Lacrosse

CASTINE, Maine-Maine Maritime Academy Director of Athletics Steve Peed has announced department restructuring for 2013-2014. The restructuring is a result of a comprehensive review of the Athletics Department conducted since Mr. Peed’s tenure began in 2012. The primary changes that will take effect beginning this fall include the discontinuation of the college’s softball program after the 2013-2014 season, renovation of existing facilities, and the addition of new staff and women’s lacrosse.
