The 2014 World Lacrosse Championships wrapped up on Saturday night with Canada defeating the United States. It wasn’t a historic or monumental upset, but is certainly an upset. Perhaps it’s fitting that in an era of growth and parity in the sport that the tournament ended the way it did. Cassese goes for gold as U.S. faces Canada for World Championship Saturday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh head men’s lacrosse coach and Team USA assistant Kevin Cassese is one win away from a gold medal at the 2014 World Lacrosse Championships. The United States faces rival Canada Saturday night at 9 p.m. ET (7 p.m. in Denver) in the championship game, live on ESPNU and WatchESPN. Cassese is looking for his second straight world title.
