CSU Lacrosse Announces 2015 Schedule

Fort Collins, CO – The Colorado State University men’s lacrosse team has announced an aggressive 16 game schedule for 2015. The Rams will make four regular season, out-of-state road trips and will play eight teams who attended the 2014 MCLA national tournament. The schedule includes the champions of five different MCLA conferences with the University of Colorado (RMLC), Boston College (PCLL), Michigan State (CCLA), Simon Fraser (PNCLL) and Arizona State (SLC) on the docket. Arizona State University Men’s Lacrosse Names Joseph Thon Head Coach

(July 22, 2014) TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona State University Men’s Lacrosse announced that Joseph Thon of Rochester. NY, has been named as the new head coach. Thon is a 2007 graduate of Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pa., where he was a two-time NCAA Division II lacrosse All-America selection, and team captain, Academic All-American, Scholar Athlete of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in 2007. Englehart Named Head Coach at George Washington

WASHINGTON, DC (7/16/14) ̶ Joe Opron, Head Coach of the George Washington University men’s lacrosse team for the last three seasons, has announced that he will be stepping off the sidelines for family and professional reasons and into a new role as Director of Lacrosse Operations. CAL Lacrosse Celebrates 50th Anniversary


This season the CAL Men’s Lacrosse team celebrated their 50th Anniversary.  The home games were played in the new Memorial Stadium on campus.  The final regular season game was played against Stanford.  As part of the celebration a 5 minute video was shown on the Jumbotron at halftime. Read More…

Chris Malone Steps Down as Arizona State Head Coach, Team Seeking Applicants

Chapman Eliminates Colorado State in MCLA Quarterfinals

Irvine, CA – The 5th seeded Colorado State Rams saw their two-year reign as kings of the MCLA come to an end on Tuesday evening as the 4th seeded Chapman Panthers pulled away for an 8-2 victory in the quarterfinal round of the national tournament. The Rams fell behind early and were unable to find the necessary offensive rhythm to muster a comeback attempt as Chapman slowly mounted its lead. Read More…

Ram Defense Shines in 5-3 First Round Victory over Simon Fraser (MCLA)

Irvine, CA – In the last game the Colorado State Rams played at the MCLA national tournament, they held the Colorado Buffaloes to just two goals while winning their sixth national championship in May of 2013. In a 2014 opening round contest against 12th seeded Simon Fraser, the 5th seeded Rams picked up right where they left off, holding the high-powered Clan offense to just three goals in a 5-3 victory on the campus of UC-Irvine.
