Video Highlights: Stanford Wins the WCLL Championship Over Sonoma State


The Stanford Cardinal and the Sonoma State Seawolves met in the WCLL Championship lacrosse game in Novato. Sonoma led 4-2 in the second quarter and 6-4 at the end of the third quarter, but Stanford launched a comeback and outscored Sonoma 4-1 in the fourth to upset Sonoma 8-7 to win the Western Collegiate Lacrosse League championship for the first time since 1982. Rams Pound Purdue 20-3 in MCLA First-Round



Greenville, SC – The first seeded and #1 Colorado State University Rams jumped all over the 16th seeded Purdue Boilermakers, breezing past the Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference champions by a 20-3 score. Fort Collins, CO – It was Hall of Fame Day as the top ranked Colorado State Rams welcomed the 2nd ranked Colorado Buffaloes to Hughes Stadium for the 11th annual Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Showdown on Saturday afternoon. The Rams did not disappoint the estimated 4,500 in attendance, outscoring the Buffs 6-2 in the middle two quarters en route to an 8-3 victory that clinched the number one seed for CSU in the upcoming RMLC playoffs.
