Lynchburg Scrimmages UVA in Men’s Lacrosse

Lynchburg College hosted the University of Virginia Thursday night in a men’s lacrosse scrimmage on the College’s Shellenberger Field in front of an estimated crowd of 2,134. The hard-fought game was very even with the Cavaliers finishing ahead 9-5. The Hornets led 5-4 in the early fourth quarter, but Virginia scored the last five tallies. Read More…

Towson Men’s Lacrosse Defeats Keio 11-4 in Friendly

BOSTON, Mass. – For the fourth time in their 12-year history, the Chesapeake Bayhawks have claimed the title of Major League Lacrosse champions. Led by four goals from midfielder Ben Hunt, including a pair of two-point markers, the Bayhawks overcame an early two-goal deficit to earn a convincing 16-6 victory over the top-seeded Denver Outlaws in front of 7,384 fans at Harvard Stadium on Sunday afternoon. We just got back from taking another team to the Ocean City Lax Classic again this Summer. The team ranged from LXM Pros, DI, DIII and Juco players. The assorted mix turned out to gel really well together as the chemistry was evident in the way they played over the course of the weekend. The 22nd Annual Lake Tahoe Lacrosse Tournament wrapped up this Sunday, successfully treating the small town of Incline Village, Nevada, with a healthy dose of men’s and women’s lacrosse. 40th Vail Lacrosse Shootout — Day Two

The second day of action in the 40th annual Vail Lacrosse Shootout saw the semi-finals in the Men’s Masters Division. In addition, the highly anticipated Men’s and Women’s Elite tournaments got underway. In the Masters division, Jagermeister cruised through the second round, and earned their spot in the championship game. In the second semi-final, the tournament’s new overtime rules were tested for the first time when Adrenaline knocked off last year’s champion Hulu. Read More…
