Despite a strong comeback in the four-quarter, including two goals by Senior and Bucknell commit Brock Ghelfi, the Broncos of Brophy Prep fell to St. Ignatius 6-8 in the final game of the Jerry Langkammerer Classic this past weekend. BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Junior Dante Fantoni rifled a shot past Kyle Feeney with just 14 seconds remaining to give the #11 Lehigh men’s lacrosse team a thrilling 9-8 win over #18 Bucknell in front of a facility-record 2,096 fans on Saturday night. The Mountain Hawks (11-2, 4-1 Patriot League) continually fought back from deficits until Fantoni’s goal put Lehigh up for good. Spreading the Gospel of Lacrosse this Easter Season

It’s no surprise that two Catholic schools would collaborate on spreading the gospel of lacrosse at the end of the Easter season. Providence College was scheduled to play Big East Conference foe Notre Dame on Saturday April 7. At a coaches convention in December, Friars coach Chris Burdick spoke with Drew Stevenson, an assistant coach at Brother Rice High School, when Burdick wondered if Providence needed a practice facility to use.
