Members of the Wellesley High School lacrosse team in Massachusetts put this video together complete with a solid rendition of Maverik’s new slow-motion commercial for Paul Rabil. They’ve added a twist to it by including a goalie between the pipes and hot background music.

We don’t usually show women’s lax but LAS found this beauty of a gem featuring the University of Maryland Women’s Lacrosse team in action. Most of the clip shows the Terps working Penn State with Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” blaring. Towards the end it catches the ladies working on dodging, checking, shooting, dancing, and “belly rolling.”

Also, it’s nice to see the head coach’s kids traveling and kicking it with the team. Watch the whole flick, but lend your eyes to these particular scenes – 2:38, 2:43, 2:53, and 3:05.

Damian Kulash, the lead singer of OK Go, doesn’t just make the most mind-bending music videos ever, he is also a lacrosse fan. Graduating from St. Albans School in DC, he became fond of the game. The latest video OK Go has made is for the song, “This Too Shall Pass.”
The video features a gigantic Rube Goldberg. Rube Goldbergs are deliberately over-engineered machines that perform a very simple task in a very complex fashion, usually including a chain reaction. The elaborate scheme ends with them being splat by paint. Scope the video and drop a line.

It was last November when we introduced you to the Allen Jokers at Middlebury College rapping about being a Middlebury student and laxing. Although, they aren’t actual lacrosse players at the school, they’ve just released the official video for it. Lax rap begins around 3:20, but LPG recommends that you watch all of it because it’s dope. More after the break.

The West Coast lacrosse event mixed lacrosse, music, and Hollywood. The first-of-its-kind music and lacrosse showcase was not your typical lacrosse event. It featured Hollywood casting to kick off the day, clear Pro 7 helmets and a major concert following the lacrosse games. Below is a recap of the first ever LXM PRO event on 11/21/09 in Orange County.
