Elite Motion Coach: John Grant Jr.
Elite Motion Coach had over 50 kids attend “Secrets of Scoring” Clinic this past weekend in Millersville, MD. The slow motion video technology was used to break down John Grant Jr’s shot. John showed the kids on the slow motion monitor his technique on shooting in close. John also did a lot of one on one coaching and drills with kids on how to score in close. OK Go “This Too Shall Pass”
Damian Kulash, the lead singer of OK Go, doesn’t just make the most mind-bending music videos ever, he is also a lacrosse fan. Graduating from St. Albans School in DC, he became fond of the game. The latest video OK Go has made is for the song, “This Too Shall Pass.”
The video features a gigantic Rube Goldberg. Rube Goldbergs are deliberately over-engineered machines that perform a very simple task in a very complex fashion, usually including a chain reaction. The elaborate scheme ends with them being splat by paint. Scope the video and drop a line.
Tension Over New Stick Specs, STX
Lacrosse Magazine posted an interesting article this week on their site about the ongoing stick tech regulations. Questions have popped up about STX’s Professor head. Although, there have been more than 100 Division 1 games already, there have been slim to none infractions.
