Army To Add Women’s Lacrosse In 2015-16



WEST POINT, N.Y. – The U.S. Military Academy at West Point announced it will add women’s lacrosse to its NCAA athletics lineup beginning with the 2015-16 season on Monday morning. Director of Athletics Boo Corrigan, along with the West Point leadership team, approved the addition to its Division I athletics program, which currently sponsors 25 intercollegiate sports. Season Preview: Lehigh looks to rebound in a new-look Patriot League

Seton Hill Players Sue Bus Company



PITTSBURGH — Two college lacrosse players who suffered concussions and other injuries when their team bus veered off the Pennsylvania Turnpike and crashed, killing their pregnant coach, are suing the bus company. Lawyers for Siiri Mason, of Oxford, Mich., and Abigail Shaughness, of New Windsor, Md., filed the lawsuits Tuesday against Mlaker Transportation Inc. of Davidsville. Read More…

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women’s lacrosse team is into week two of preseason practice as the Mountain Hawks prepare for their season opener against Wagner on Feb. 15. The Mountain Hawks feature a core of key returning players led by 2013 All-Patriot League honorees Carli Sukonik and Lauren Willcox, both juniors.
