The Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic had no shortage of drama this weekend. After Maryland topped Duke in the first game of the day, Princeton and Hopkins added their own drama, as the Tigers knocked off Hopkins 11-10 in overtime. In the only game that didn’t hit overtime at the Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic this weekend, Notre Dame topped Loyola 11-9. The result catapulted Notre Dame into the top 5 of the Nike/Inside Lacrosse media poll.

Recently an LPG member recommended a clip from the new hit show Blue Mountain State (BMS). BMS, which premiered on Spike TV this January, is a takeoff of National Lampoon’s Animal House and Van Wilder focusing on the football-centric university. It covers topics of college life, including football, scoring with women, drinking binges, wild partying and now fighting with the lacrosse team. The clip focuses on a long rivalry between the football team and the lacrosse team. Enjoy, we think you’ll like it.

The much awaited shorts by LAS are finally here and they are stellar. ProAthletics helped put them together and emblazoned the bottom of the shorts with the LAS logo and the words, “By players for players,” swooping across the right leg. Read More…

ESPNU recently aired a special on the recent rise in African-Americans not only playing lacrosse in general, but also excelling at the highest level of the game. Some of the interviews include Kyle Harrison (Hopkins), the Bratton twins (UVA) and Jovan Miller (Syracuse). View the video below.
