  2. lax lover on May 30, 2010 at 10:31 pm

ok, me again. i just played the demo for nll lax….i have to say ONE thing, the ideas behind the two games, nll lax and cl2010, are the same. to follow that up, make them by the same person and KEEP THE CONTROLS THE SAME. it sucks having to think rb is bucnh d in one while its check in the other. if anyone one who reads this can do something about it, pleez do

ok, for any one who wants to know, just go to xbox live marketplace, indie games, then top rated. it is RIGHT THERE. if it is a good enough game to be top rated on xbox live, with arguably some of the worst graphics since the nintendo 64, imagine what ea could do, so why dont they.

  4. packerfan on May 29, 2010 at 11:12 am

    how do u get it

  5. dc lax on May 23, 2010 at 4:52 pm

EA Sports needs to pick this up and make this shit official. like they have for football, basketball, baseball, and hockey. it would be so much better if they made the game. but i guess it is better then not haveing a lacrosse video game out.

I think that the majority of people who would be willing to support a lacrosse video game are not going to care weather or not its NLL, MLL, or NCAA. This is a good start and if people try this game and send their constructive criticism to a developer who can do something about the game then maybe we could improve and expand on this game. Just remember, they all have to start somewhere. This is our sport. Lets see it improve as a nation!

  16. DtD on April 11, 2010 at 7:28 pm

This is a rly good first step for a lax game, and hopefully EA might pick up with lax soon like they did with the rugby franchise… any1 know if this game is out for PS3?

  17. Lee Southren on April 11, 2010 at 9:17 am

    People,

As big as Lax is getting, the “real” players in the Sports Marketing world have not bought into it yet. Props to Carlo Sunseri for putting this game together. It is not what we all expect from a video game, but it is a small step forward. I personally have been trying to speak to execs regsrding a real top end version of the game.
The nutshell is that the MLL is a joke, NLL has some potential but has not enough American interest. NCAA is the real gem, but there are a lot of College games and they are not doing as well as they have imagined. This is not the time to take a flyer on a new game with a
    ‘limited”‘ amount of potential buyers.
The people like us who love Lacrosse are passionate, but there aren’t the sheer numbers to support it.
Tke this game for what it is.

First off, this looks awesome! Lacrosse has been underrated and ignored in the media and gaming for too long. I haven’t played the game yet but one thing I noticed is that there weren’t any penalties in the preview video so there were no man down situations or changes of possession. Are there penalties in the game for slashing, cross checking, etc.?

Yeah everyone reading. I highly recommend this game. I was skeptical at first as well. But i downloaded it, played it, and loved it. It captures lacrosse very well and feels very familiar on the feild. One little nag at it, of course the graphics, but amazingly done for being made single handed. Took a little getting used to because the players drift around a little on the feild when changing directions. Otherwise, amazing game. Very well done, well worth the $5

  20. nate on March 19, 2010 at 9:01 pm

Just think of what EA could do with the WII if they made a real lacrosse game!! theres big money in this if they would just try.

  21. SAMMY on March 19, 2010 at 11:05 am

Another small step in the right direction. I encourage you all to join the Facebook group petitioning EA Sports to make this into a full-fledged game. The graphics for this game are fair, the soundtrack needs enhancement, and the player physics engine, while a good first step, still has a long ways to go. We need a game with a kick-ass soundtrack, an impeccable physics engine, and player customizability. Development of this game by EA could represent a major step forward for lacrosse wordwide. I would be astonished if the game failed to become a hit.

  25. Max on March 7, 2010 at 3:57 pm

I think that this is a big step in the right direction and is something to build on.

Release on PS3 and Sony and ill be happy

  30. Lee SOUTHREN on February 1, 2010 at 2:26 pm

    People,

Keep this game in perspective. Carlo, great job with this getting something into the the hands of Lacrosse faithful at a very reasonable price.

With that said, this is not going to be “Sports Video game” that is going to compare to any of the big games, from the big sports from the big Video game makers. Lacrosse is a game well on their radar, but not taken seriously yet because they feel that not enough games will be sold to warrant the effort to make.

The problem with the Lacrosse industry is that they tend to hype 2 or 3 players at a time..used to be Gaits, then Powells, then Mikey Powell, Kyle Harrison, now Rabil, Rabil, Rabil. He is a great player, but as good as he is, he is only 1 (one) player. The Pro league, boards, MFG, companies, IL, Magazines need to promote 10 players, DIVERSIFY!! like you would do with your portfolio.
Here are some names of guys that should be among them (not in any order) besides the aforementioned..

    Zack Greer
    Joe Cinosky
    Brendan Mundorf
    Brett Queener
    Joe Walters
    Lewis Ratcliff
    Geoff Snider
    Ryan Boyle
    Merrick Thomson
    Dan Dawson

Sick game. Highly recommended from an avid gamer and laxer.

  34. Tom on November 20, 2009 at 6:54 pm

I give these guys a lot of credit. They’ve developed a great game, and because of delays, knocked the price down to $5. This game will hopeully create the buzz and awareness that a sport like lacrosse needs in order for the big boys at EA to see value in developing a bigger platform. Players will enjoy the smooth ganeplay and a big option for me was Having the ability to start a season, complete with a playoff bracket.

Looking forward to the next generation of this game, and hope that EA will follow the hype and take it to the next level.

I got it, the graphics are bad but its fun, creating teams is cool, but shooting is like impossible

  37. Big Red on November 19, 2009 at 8:44 pm

Don’t judge a video game from the screen shots. I brought it and even though the graphics are less than impressive, the gameplay is actually really fun. Great game to bro out when the elements prevent us from actually playing lacrosse.

  38. Tyler on November 19, 2009 at 4:07 pm

It’s an indie game people… I would really like to see some of you create a better looking game from your basement.

  39. Chris on November 19, 2009 at 2:09 pm

I downloaded this from the XBOX live marketplace a couple of nights ago and I love it! I was following it on facebook and greatly anticipating the release. Game play is a blast and it captures the game pretty well. Best of all the game is only $5 on XBOX Live, and well worth it!

  40. Dan on November 19, 2009 at 1:53 pm

Meh…does not look up to par with other sports games released this year.
