Could Junior Seau’s Son Be the Next Face of Lacrosse

The son of 12-time NFL Pro Bowl linebacker Junior Seau is already showing a glimpse of how good he will become. Jake Seau is a sophomore at the Bishop’s School in California. He has already verbally committed to play at Duke. He is rocking the #24 uniform in White and ends up with a Hat Trick.

You may think I’m getting way ahead of myself here, but I’m a good judge of talent. Does he resemble a certain #99? In the clip, Bishop’s is playing Columbine (CO). Below are a few notables about the players.

Bishop’s Commits
#24 – Jake Seau – Duke
# 7 Defense – Dartmouth
#23 Defense – Notre Dame

Columbine Commits-
#22- Mid- Colgate
#10 Attack – Drexel

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.

Learn how to read kid. It clearly talks about him resembling the beast that his dad was. It has nothing to do about him only verbally commiting to Duke because of his last name and only beacuse of his last name. Obviously you need glasses as well. The video clearly shows his athleticism and power. Get off the other kids dick trying to back him up when you don’t even know what your talking about.

I’ve seen Seau play….not really a D1 commit. If his last name was anything other than Seau no one would look at him as a D1 recruit. They see his last name and the athlete that his father is and assume he will grow into a mirror image of him.

Obviously if he is still very young, but he needs to grow (in the right ways) and mature as a player before he is even close to a D1 lacrosse player.
